Install Instructions

  1. Download the installer for your platform from this page.
  2. Windows: run the .exe and follow setup prompts.
  3. Linux: run sudo apt install ./streamflix_2.3.0_amd64.deb.
  4. Launch StreamFlix from the app menu or desktop shortcut.

Release Details

  1. Release tag: v2.3.0.
  2. Includes local relay playback for HTTP/HTTPS stream compatibility.
  3. Improved channel handoff from homepage to player.
  4. Updated app icon and desktop packaging support.

Android APK Info (Planned)

  1. Target package: streamflix-android-v2.3.0.apk (planned naming).
  2. Base approach: PWA-capable web app packaged for Android app install flow.
  3. Release channel: GitHub Releases page when APK build is finalized.
  4. Until APK release, use the web app in mobile browser/PWA install mode.
